The CWC’s membership is diverse and we are fortunate to have some very skilled ladies amongst us who use those skills to help others in the community.
One such member is Jessica Sears who has been knitting beautiful hats and receiving blankets for newborn babies of the NICU at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for several years.
Accompanied by a few other members of the CWC, Jessica visits the NICU from time to time to personally hand over the knitted items. This year, Jessica was joined by fellow CWC members Mary Cozier and Maggie Griffiths as well as our Community Services Chair, Ann Smith.
