The CWC recently sponsored Camp PRIDE 2018, a camp organized by the Diabetes Association of Barbados. The camp took place at the Springer Memorial School between 16th – 27th July 2018 and targeted children between the ages of 4 – 14 years.
These children benefitted in many ways through the various organized activities such as dance, arts & crafts, drama time, meal planning, etc. On Saturday 28th, the participants got to show off their culinary skills by taking part in a Cook Off . A wonderful time was had by all!
Our Community Services Chair, Ann Smith, was present at the Cook Off together with representatives from Republic Bank and Bryden Stokes who also sponsored the event. Ann spoke on behalf of the CWC and made a presentation to the junior students that were in attendance.
